Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 30, 2026
Last Updated: May 30, 2026

Industrial Municipal Supply Company, Inc. (“IMSCO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit imsupplyco.com (the “Site”), purchase from us, request a quote, sign up for our communications, or otherwise interact with our business.

By using the Site or providing us with your information, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

Information you provide directly to us:

  • Name, business name, job title
  • Email address, phone number, mailing/shipping address
  • Order details, payment information (processed by our payment processor — we do not store full card numbers)
  • Quote requests, training enrollments, support inquiries, and similar communications
  • Marketing preferences and subscription opt-ins

Information collected automatically when you visit the Site:

  • IP address, browser type, device type, operating system
  • Pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URLs
  • Cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5)

Information from third parties:

  • Customer relationship management (CRM) data from platforms we use to manage our business (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Marketing analytics from advertising and analytics partners

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Process orders, fulfill quotes, deliver products, and provide services
  • Provide customer support, training enrollment, and technical assistance
  • Send transactional communications (order confirmations, shipping updates, invoices)
  • Send marketing communications, including emails, newsletters, and promotional offers (with your consent where required by law)
  • Improve our products, services, website, and customer experience
  • Conduct analytics, research, and reporting
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect our rights
  • Deliver targeted advertising and measure its effectiveness, including through Customer Match, remarketing, and similar audience programs offered by third-party advertising platforms (see Section 4)

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:

  • Service providers and processors that help us operate our business — including hosting providers, CRM platforms (HubSpot), email marketing platforms, payment processors, shipping carriers (UPS, EasyPost, WeSupply), and ERP systems (10X ERP)
  • Advertising and analytics platforms, including Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook/Meta, and similar services, for the purposes described in Section 4
  • Business partners (such as authorized manufacturer dealers and training partners) when necessary to fulfill an order or service
  • Legal and regulatory authorities when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our legal rights
  • Successors in interest in the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction

4. Advertising, Remarketing, and Customer Match

We work with third-party advertising platforms — including Google Ads — to deliver advertising that is relevant to you and to measure ad performance.

In particular, we may upload contact information (such as hashed email addresses, phone numbers, and names) from our customer and marketing databases to these platforms so that the platforms can:

  • Exclude existing customers from prospecting campaigns so we don’t show ads to people who already buy from us
  • Match our customer data to user accounts on those platforms (Google’s “Customer Match” program)
  • Build “similar” or “lookalike” audiences — that is, identify other users who share characteristics with our existing customers — so we can advertise to people likely to be interested in our products and services
  • Measure conversions and ad effectiveness

When we upload data to Google Ads or other advertising platforms, the data is cryptographically hashed (SHA-256) before it leaves our systems, so the platforms receive irreversible identifiers rather than your plain-text email or phone number. The platforms use those hashed identifiers to match against their existing users and discard data that doesn’t match.

Your choices:

  • You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google at Google Ads Settings
  • You can opt out of cross-site advertising via the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info
  • You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time using the “unsubscribe” link in any email, or by contacting us at the address below
  • You can request that we remove your information from our customer lists used for advertising (see Section 8)

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, web beacons, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and support advertising. This may include:

  • Essential cookies required for the Site to function
  • Analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics) that help us understand how visitors use the Site
  • Advertising cookies (e.g., Google Ads remarketing tags, Meta Pixel) that help us deliver and measure relevant ads

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Site functionality.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — including providing services, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Customer and order records are typically retained for the duration of our business relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter consistent with our legal and tax obligations.

7. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • The right to opt out of marketing communications
  • The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
